Two bodies moving in the speed of the quickstep require first of all a high levelof synchronisation and common understanding about leg tension and usage of the ankles. During execution of figures like: Kicks, Hops, Woodpeckers both, Man and Lady, need the same toning of feet, ancle and leg muscles, comparable as doing e.g. kicks/hops in the Jive. Men should have a great awareness about the position and balance of their lady during thisfast moving dance, floorcraft is essential to have.
